A wonderful ceramic jar, Jar has a bulbous body with a short, narrow neck and a slightly flared rim. It appears to be hand-thrown, with visible irregularities and throwing lines, particularly around the neck and shoulder. The glaze is a rich, dark brown color, with lighter brown tones visible towards the base and rim, suggesting a degree of variation in the firing process. The surface is glossy and showing some subtle imperfections. Jar is in good used vintage condition with minor defects to note.
